Dayton, Ohio - TDH Marketing & Communications acquired the assets of Cincinnati-based video production company, Deborah Hetzer Productions. This acquisition will expand TDH Marketing's video production and editing capabilities and augment its interactive multimedia division.

This acquisition allows TDH to expand its corporate and commercial television and infomercial production capabilities and increase the volume of sales, promotional and training presentations that can be produced for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, healthcare providers, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, international corporations and small and medium size businesses.

Deborah Hetzer Productions has been in business over 15 years, providing award-winning video, film and electronic imaging services. The company has served clients in the following markets: consumer products, health and beauty, healthcare providers and medical networks. This addition will be an asset to TDH Marketing's multimedia division and will allow the company to expand its capabilities in the areas of video and film production, animation, non-linear digital editing, multimedia CD and DVD development and point-of-purchase interactive displays.
David Hetzer has been appointed to the position of Manager, Video Production Services at TDH Marketing and will oversee all aspects of creative and technical production. Deborah Hetzer will serve as Executive Producer, working with three associate producers, assisting with scriptwriting and providing voiceover talent. TDH estimates it will be adding approximately 3-5 additional associates to its operation in Dayton within the coming months.
TDH Marketing also recently announced a corporate restructuring - including two new vice president positions - to manage continuing business growth being generated locally, nationally and internationally.
"While changes in the advertising industry have posed uncertainty for some marketing and advertising firms, we have been fortunate to have accurately projected the changes that are now occurring in our industry," Tim Hull said.
John Hull, previously Director of Marketing, has been promoted to Vice President, Operations. This position will focus on productivity, profitability and overall business growth. Hull will be responsible for establishing and maintaining all operational systems, as well as maintaining profitable workflow to ensure maximum client satisfaction. Hull holds bachelors degrees in marketing and sports management from Miami University.
Kim Eros has joined the company as Vice President, Business Development and will be responsible for identifying and securing new local, regional and national clients. Eros has a proven track record of corporate business growth due to her highly innovative skills and exemplary understanding of marketing, advertising, multimedia/online and the management of business growth initiatives. Eros holds a bachelor's degree in advertising and marketing from Purdue University.
In addition to the new editing suite and camera equipment, TDH Marketing has also made significant capital investments in additional servers, digital storage capacity and added a large-scale rendering farm that will increase the speed in which animated sequences and 3-D illustrations can be rendered.
Overall financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, however TDH Marketing conservatively estimates it will see an initial 35% to 38% increase in revenue from the addition of the video production group.
